Trainer Neil Howard earned his 1,000th career win with Soul Search in the seventh race at Keeneland Wednesday, one of three races in a row won by jockey Robby Albarado.
Last in the early stages of the 1 3/16-mile allowance race, Soul Search rallied between rivals at the top of the stretch and drew away to a 7 1/2-length victory as the 7-10 favorite.
