By John Pricci Saratoga Springs, NY--Hyperbole is the linchpin of sports. Viewing just one edition of “Sports Center” proves that much. In thoroughbred racing, however, the term great is an adjective held in such high esteem that it’s often referred to as “the ‘G’ word.” It’s used sparingly, usually when remarkable performance meets historical achievement under extraordinary circumstances. But I’ve seen enough. Invasor is a great racehorse. We’re going on the record now, two months before the reigning Horse of the Year defeats the exceedingly brilliant and perhaps great someday Discreet Cat in the Dubai World Cup halfway across the world on March 31 at Nad Al Sheba Race Course. After that, Invasor’s greatness bandwagon will fill up in :22-and-44 seconds flat. |

By FullCardReports.com Aqueduct Aces of the Day: Four riders notched riding doubles Wednesday. Eibar Coa, Pablo Fragoso, Mike Luzzi, and Alan Garcia each made two trips to the winner's circle. Coa cut the sidelined Ramon Dominguez' lead in the jockey standings to nine. Norberto Arroyo, banged up in a spill on Saturday, is expected to be out of action for a week. |

By Brian Mulligan The Show Must Go On is a song by Queen that was on the flip side of the hit Bohemian Rhapsody but when Barclay Tagg thinks about his Show, he’s contemplating the pro-term leader of the sophomore division-- Nobiz Like Shobiz. The colt by the modest sire Albert the Great, out of the Storm Cat dam Nightstorm, ran his record to three for 4 by taking the Grade 3 Holy Bull last weekend in Florida. While posting a career best 98 Beyer he flashed career speed, was on the muscle from the get go and despite acting green and immature down the lane, still was visually impressive. |

Wednesday's featured race of the day worked out well. My top pick was Against the Grain, who returned $4.60 for the win. My second choice Odetta One ran second, the exacta returning $33.80. My third choice My Song to You ran third, the trifecta coming back at $98.50.

By Joe Takach This new series will focus on what you can do on a daily basis to select more winners while saving many bad bets via your racetrack feed. I’ll start by offering you a real life experience. This past week after my 15 minute paddock inspection of a field for the upcoming 50K claiming race, I strolled from the Santa Anita walking ring to the front apron so that I could watch the pre-race warm-ups. |

By FullCardReports.com Although no agreement has been reached between the New York Racing Association and the jockeys over which hospital riders should be taken to following an ontrack injury, both sides agreed that racing would resume Wednesday at Aqueduct as scheduled. Saturday's program was stopped after the fifth race and the entire nine-race card for Sunday was canceled after jockeys refused to ride following a spill in Saturday's fifth race, the second accident in three days. |

By FullCardReports.com In the aftermath of two spills last week, talks will continue between the New York jockeys and management regarding the destination of injured riders once they leave Aqueduct in an ambulance. The walkout Saturday stemmed not from an unsafe track, but from the quality of health care the jockeys claim they receive from Jamaica Hospital. |
