I don't post a Padding Your Bankroll on Sunday, but hopefully you used my Gulfstream Park Report. I had four winners on top,, producing a +47% +ROI on the day. We stayed busy cashing tickets, as one of my top two picks won eight of the ten races on the card and we knocked down eight recommended exactas. The payoffs were: $30.80, $26.00, $34.80, $42.40, $21.00, $11.80, $13.40, and $20.80.
Let's see if we can keep it going today.

We only had three of the four winners on our PIck 4 ticket on Thursday. We started off with a $16 winner, had our single English Channel come home in the second leg ($2.60) and had the $19.80 winner in the nightcap with our "ALL" but missed the third leg with Busy Business ($32.60) ruing our ticket .
Despite the chalky English Channel being in the sequence the Pick 4 payoff for a $1 still returned $2,427.00.
Close only counts in...well, you know the rest.

By Brian Mulligan The lure of the Santa Anita Handicap, which will be renewed March 3, captured the imagination of the world with the Academy Award nominated movie Seabiscuit a few years ago but it started big too, as ‘a hundred grander’ in the inaugural run in 1935 which was one by Azucar. Overcoming illness and injury, Seabiscuit made amends for 2 runner-up efforts in the Big ‘Cap by finally taking the 1940 renewal. The winners of the race reads like a who’s who of the game. |

Polytrack And Its Problems Demand More Time And Research |

On The Line by John Pricci

By John Pricci Saratoga Springs, NY--Polytrack, the most significant development in thoroughbred racing since the advent of Breeders’ Cup two decades ago, has suffered a significant blow to its burgeoning utility and reputation. Clearly, any development that positively affects the welfare of the equine athlete is a good thing. But it turns out that no solution is a quick fix, not even Polytrack. Polytrack is more than an artificial racing surface. It is an entire system that includes a cushion laid over a vertical drainage structure that at once allows for softer impact for thousand-pound animals carrying 110 pounds on their backs while racing against other animals at 40 miles per hour. It, or surfaces like it, has become the hope of an industry looking to reduce catastrophic injuries of the kind suffered by Barbaro. |

I think we have a good chance of upsetting the 7/.5 morning line favorite in today's featured race of the day. Livermore Valley is the chalk in the Stormy Krissy Stakes at the Big A.
We'll also used a couple of singles and look for a bomb in the final leg with our Pick 4 ticket from Gulfstream Park.

By Joe Takach Assuming that you have “muted” the talking heads on your racetrack feed, we’ll begin with the addition and deletion of front wraps. If you’re considering “physicality handicapping” for the first time in your horseplaying career, this is the easiest place to begin simply because front wraps are readily visible in any post parade. |
